This entry has been written from the view point of someone who has never been to any Disney theme park, not even Disneyland Paris.
It is also the first holiday in the US and although I have spent two weeks in eastern Canada, I expect that the experience will be very different.
I would also like to point out that this holiday is being spent with my pregnant wife and two children under the age of ten, and so it is very unlikely that we will be experiencing any of the major thrill rides, which to be honest is no loss as far as I am concerned anyway. |
Well its the night before the flight to Orlando, the dog has been sent to stay with a friend, so his holiday has started, and the bags are packed. We've decided not to take too much because even though during august thunderstorms occur most afternoons, they are brief and heavy, and cool you down, and afterwards the heat of the day dry's you off completely.
As departure day has approached the kids have got more a more excited to the point that for the last couple of nights their sleep patterns have got more and more erratic. This has left us with a massive problem, we are staying with family the night before the flight because Elizabeth's father has generously offered to drive us to the airport and will be leaving there at 4.00 in the morning, so do we try and force the kids to go to bed early, knowing full well that the kids won't sleep, or let them stay up late and hope they get some sleep on the flight, we have chosen the later.
So the only thing left to do now is have a final meal in the uk for a fortnight. So do we go for a health meal with the days travel head of us in mind, of course not start the holiday the way we will probably continue it, junk food all round, now were is that pizza delivery guy.
Note
This is an early version of the article and may, and probably will change as the rest of the articles written about this holiday are completed. If there are any mistakes you feel I have made please leave a comment and I will try to resolve them in future revisions. |
